SOHO VOICES ARTIST PUBLISHES NEW BOOK

Soho Voices artist Giles Abbott recently published Storymaker: The Art of Creating and Sharing Stories with Children.

Whether you’re a teacher, parent, guardian or family member, the need to engage with and entertain the youngsters you care for is universal. Modern life makes access to entertainment easy, but what if there was another way – one that truly strengthened the bonds between you? For generations, humanity has practised the art of storytelling – a skill that you too can learn, enabling you to create magical tales that will shape those listening for years to come.

Perhaps it’s a group of restless children and you wish you could catch, hold and reward their attention? Perhaps it’s a long journey, or you want to get them off their screens? As you conjure a gripping story from thin air using the methods in this book, you’ll find that face-to-face engagement creates contentment, concentration and connection on your journey together through story.

SOHO VOICES ARTIST STARS IN SUPER BOWL LIX AD

Soho Voices artist MEHRAN JAMES MCCULLOUGH stars in the new Nestle Coffee mate campaign that will appear at this year’s Super Bowl LIX on Sunday. And keeping with Super Bowl tradition, this new campaign has a celebrity cameo from one of the biggest country music artists of her generation, Shania Twain.

Shaina’s voice can be heard during a rather fun scene in which a tongue dances, sings, plays a variety of instruments, and even does a mid-air flip.

This spot is in promotion of Coffee Mate’s non-dairy creamer’s “Cold Foam” variety.

Huge congratulations to Mehran.

EUROPEAN PREMIERE CPIFF 2025: THE MAN WHO SAVED THE INTERNET WITH A SUNFLOWER

The fascinating true story of Rob Ryan, played by Soho Voices artist Martin Delaney is the focus of Ori Yardeni biopic The Man Who Saved the Internet with a Sunflower which will have its European Premiere at the 2025 Crystal Palace International Film Festival.

The dramatic and unknown story of Rob Ryan, the ultimate entrepreneur, who saved the Internet from collapsing in the 90s of the last century, revolutionised the lives of all of us, in every field, and now these days is trying to save the Internet from itself.

The Man Who Saved the Internet with a Sunflower … was informative and interesting, especially in rooting for the underdog and never giving up no matter how many doors slam in your face. In addition, the attention to detail in creating the 1980s and 1990s tech environment was notable, from computers and dot matrix printouts to roll-down car door windows as well as all the possibilities of the Internet that were just an idea then and exist now from conference abilities and porn to shopping, streaming, and home delivery.” Film Threat Review 2024

Festival Screening:

Fri 21st March 7:30PM – Tickets
