Description

Trevor gave up a career in law in 1979 and, over the last 40+ years, has worked extensively on stage,TV, film, radio, and voiceover.
Stage work includes the Olivier Award-winning productions Chimerica (Almeida and West End), Death of a Salesman (Young Vic and West End), and Martin McDonagh’s Lieutenant of Innishmore (RSC and West End). He has worked extensively at the RSC and the National and in the West End, and he appeared off Broadway with Michael Gambon and Eileen Atkins in All That Fall.
TV work includes BAFTA-winning productions of The Singing Detective, Our Friends in the North, Longitude, and An Ungentlemanly Act, and recently he appeared as Sergeant Wolfe in 3 seasons of Call the Midwife and 3 seasons as Len Clifton in the multi-BAFTA-winning comedy This Country (written by and starring his niece and nephew Daisy May and Charlie Cooper).
Films include The Gangs of New York and Drowning by Numbers.
Radio work includes winning the Carleton Hobbs Award for radio drama and seasons with the BBC radio rep. More recently, he has worked on several productions for Big Finish, including Dr. Who and four seasons of Star Cops, where he reprised the character of Colin Devis he had played 30 years earlier.
In voice-overs, Trevor was the voice of several TV ads for Made.com
