Description

William Gaminara was born in Zambia in 1956 and has been working as an actor and writer for nearly fifty years. He graduated from Oxford University with a degree in languages and has been acting and writing in all media ever since.

He has worked extensively on radio and on TV and is perhaps best known as Dr. Lock in the Archers and as Professor Leo Dalton in Silent Witness (10 series). On stage, he has worked at the National Theatre, the RSC (most recently in ‘Oppenheimer’), and in the West End. His most recent television work includes The Alienist, Paradise Postponed, Electric Dreams, and Catastrophe.
