We’re delighted to see Soho Voices artist Nick Brimble return behind the microphone for Channel 4’s much-loved series Help! We Bought a Village, with Nick providing the narration for Season 5.
The series follows adventurous Brits who have taken on the extraordinary challenge of restoring abandoned and forgotten villages across Europe. From crumbling buildings to ambitious renovation projects, each episode tells the stories of people determined to breathe new life into these historic communities.
Nick’s rich, authoritative and reassuring delivery is perfectly suited to the series’ storytelling-led format. An experienced actor and voice artist, Nick brings a natural sense of gravitas and warmth to the narration, guiding viewers through the highs, lows, and unexpected challenges of village life.
With an extensive screen and theatre career spanning the National Theatre, RSC and West End, Nick has also built an impressive voiceover portfolio, including documentary narration for National Geographic and work for brands including Samsung, Jaguar Land Rover, and Barclays.
His return to Help! We Bought a Village is another great example of his ability to make factual storytelling engaging, warm and compelling.
