René Driessen
Description
René is an active and experienced voiceover artist and has worked for several different productions and companies (like Channel 4, Amazon Prime, the British Museum, Microsoft, and Mazda), including commercials, documentaries, films, TV, corporates, and training films. René is fluent in 4 languages, namely Dutch and Flemish (native), German and English (fluent), and he speaks conversational French.
In the Netherlands, René was also a full-time presenter of a daily live 3-hour show for a local radio broadcast; he was the master of ceremonies for a local theatre, and he has presented many shows and live events in and out of theatres.
René graduated as an actor and musical theatre performer (BA) at London Studio Centre. Before that, he graduated as a teacher (BA) from the theatre-dance department of the Arnhem University “Artez,” majoring in musical theatre and tap dance.
His active performing career brought him, among others, in musicals in the Efteling Theatre, Warner Bros Movie World Germany (in leading roles), and as a singer and dancer at several other productions (like in the musical Sweet Charity, at Endemol Entertainment, as a dancer/actor in Disneyland Paris, and the opera “AIDA”). As an actor he has worked for several companies like Warner Bros, Channel 4, More4, Discovery ID, AHC (American History Channel), and LWT.
Next to this, he has been teaching for many years at several schools internationally and at a few professional theatre-dance colleges in the Netherlands. Next to that, he is an active director and choreographer.
