Description

Rachel O’Connell is a London based actor and singer from Cork, Ireland. She can be seen as Nancy Madigan on The Young Offenders on BBC. She was reprising her role in the Irish premiere of the one-woman show Iphigenia in Splott (Reality check Productions) when Covid hit and all theatres shut their doors. Based on this setback, she decided on a whim to do something she had always wanted to do: apply to RADA. Three years later, she is now a RADA graduate and excited to see what the future holds.

Theatre credits include Coppers the Musical (Verdant Productions), Eclipsed (Mill Theatre Productions), Guys and Dolls (Auckland Theatre Company), Big Maggie (Everyman Palace Theatre), Playboy of the western world (Mill Theatre Productions), Death of a Salesman (Belgrade Theatre Serbia).

Awards whilst in training at RADA:

‘Most outstanding Performance’ at the Henry Marshall prize fights 2023.
Recipient of the Sir John Gielgud award.
Recipient of the Josephine Hart Poetry foundation award.
