Description
Rachel Marquez originally hails from Anchorage, Alaska. She graduated from Vassar College (NY) in 2009 with a major in Film and Animation. She also took courses at RADA in London, Tisch School of the Arts in NYC, and the American Conservatory Theatre in San Francisco. After graduation, she returned to Alaska to work as a pre-production assistant and artist at Evergreen Films in Anchorage/LA. During this time, she performed in numerous local and touring theatrical productions, and won several awards for her singing in the NATS MT competitions in 2010/2011. She moved to London in 2011 to pursue a full-time acting career, where she has added film, TV, and stage projects to her credits. She also gigs as a Vintage Jazz Singer, and does the odd art commission here and there. Since joining Soho Voices in 2016, she has thoroughly enjoyed lending her voice to animation, commercial, and corporate projects.
