Description

Nicholas Farrell is an English stage, film and television actor. Farrell was educated at Fryerns Grammer and Technical School in Basildon, Essex, followed by the University of Nottingham and the Bristol Old Vic Theatre School, alongside fellow pupil Daniel Day-Lewis.

His screen career includes the roles of Aubrey in Chariot of Fire, Horatio in Kenneth Branagh’s 1996 Hamlet and Airey Neave in The Iron Lady. Appearances on television include Spooks, Torchwood and Agatha Christie’s Poirot. Nicholas’s theatre work includes performances of The Cherry Orchard, Camille and The Crucible as well as Royal Shakespeare Company productions of The Merchant of Venice, Julius Caesar, and Hamlet.

Nicholas can currently be seen in the new Count of Monte Christo mini series playing “Morrel”.
