Description

Maite Jauregui was born in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Madrid as a child, where she began her acting career at the age of 12 in film (Planta 4a) and TV (Amar en tiempos revueltos, Abuela de Verano, El comisario, 18). She later on moved to the UK to train at RADA and has since continued working in film, TV and stage both in Spain and in the UK.

Her latest work includes Channel 4 series Flowers staring Olivia Coleman, The Mallorca Files (BBC) and FBI: International (CBS) amongst others. She also recently premiered an Arts Council England funded one woman show co-created and directed by Pau Aran (member of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch).

As a VO Artist, with over 500 jobs under her belt, she has amongst many others narrated the Teletubbies series, recorded a documentary for National Geographic about Pompeii, currently playing on Disney+ and her latest Audiobook (The Fountains of Silence) is an Earphone Awards winner.

Besides her acting career, Maite has always been passionate about music. She has been playing the violin since the age of 3 and sings jazz.
