Description

Iain is a Scottish stage, film, and TV actor based in London, with over 35 years of professional experience behind him. He has voiced advertising campaigns for The House of Fraser, Irn Bru, The Daily Record, Lyle and Scott, and the British Heart Foundation, and is the onboard audio narrator for City Sightseeing and Majestic Tourist Buses in Edinburgh.

He is also, and has been for many years, the voice for the visually impaired clients of Royal Mail and Parcelforce UK.

Iain voiced the leading character of Giron in the animated feature film Ploey, and has appeared in numerous feature films, including Loves Labours Lost, As You Like It, and The Magic Flute, all directed by Kenneth Branagh. Bel Ami, Macbeth, King Lear, Tommy’s Honour, and The Wickertree.

His many TV appearances include Endeavour, The Bletchley Circle, William and Catherine, Doctors, Casualty, The Bill, and Taggart. He has appeared in over a hundred stage productions, including The Hobbit, Tom’s Midnight Garden (London and New York), Of Mice and Men, King Lear, Cat on a Hot Tin Roof, Amadeus, and in twenty-five Pantos, playing everything from a Dame to a King.
