Description

Eliud Gabriel Porras is a Mexican, voice actor living in London. The BBC recruited him in Mexico to work as a journalist, producer and presenter for the World Service. After serving six years with the BBC he became independent and over the last two decades has established himself as one of the most successful and respected foreign voice artists in London.

His wide range and experience have allowed him to cover many roles, from being Lead Presenter for the International Olympic Committee at the London 2012 Olympics to voicing characters like the Hulk, Black Panther and Rhino for Hasbro Toys. He has recorded TV, radio, internet and cinema releases for over one hundred high profile companies like Apple, Gillette, British Airways, Rolex, P&O Ferries, EMI, Toyota, Microsoft, Pokerstars and many others, as well as dubbing dozens of films and animations.

His voice has been described as warm, sophisticated, deep, earthy, strong, smooth and intriguing, and can also be -when appropriate- sensual, hilarious and “dangerous in a good way”.

That voice has been opening doors for him for more than twenty years as a radio DJ and television Anchorman, leading dozens of advertising and educational campaigns across Europe and Latin America for Gillette, the BBC, HSBC, Netflix, Johnnie Walker, Nickelodeon, United Artists, Toyota, Old El Paso, Kellogg’s, Pepsi, Coca-Cola, Sauza Tequila, Oracle, Bacardi, Samsung, PokerStars and FIFA among many others.
