Donna Jay Fulks

Description

Donna Jay Fulks studied acting at NYU, Columbia College Chicago, Second City, iO and UCB. She is an accomplished voice actor who has experience in all facets of the industry. Among the many highlights of her commercial VO career, Donna was the exclusive voice of JcPenney for nearly a decade. In television promo, she has worked for CBS, MSNBC, CMT and others. She also provides radio imaging for several stations in the U.S. and Canada. From 2013-2019 she was the voice of The Oprah Winfrey Network (OWN) and traveled as Ms. Winfrey’s live announcer during her 2014 tour. Other live events include the 2021 Game Awards and VH-1’s Trailblazer Honors.

Since relocating to Los Angeles, Donna has begun a career in animation. She has voiced characters in the ‘Sonic The Hedgehog’ franchise, HBO Max’s ‘Doom Patrol,’ and in multiple series for Netflix and Disney Plus. She has translated her skills to VO parodies for SNL, Jimmy Kimmel Live! and The Ellen Show. She can currently be heard as the Voice of VSN on Showtime’s ‘I Love That For You.’ Donna’s recent on-screen credits include ‘Southside,’ ‘Chicago Med’ and ‘Chicago PD.’ In 2008, she appeared in David Cromer’s acclaimed Chicago production of ‘Our Town.’ She joined its Off-Broadway cast, and traveled to California for its run at The Broad Stage with Helen Hunt. She is married to Grammy-nominee Robbie Fulks.
