Description
Benedetta established as a voiceover in 1994, following a career as an international radio and TV presenter. Since the mid 80s she has interviewed on and off camera the world’s biggest music stars. Topping her list is nonetheless David Bowie, interviewed live on RAI Uno – the Italian national TV channel – for the Freddie Mercury Tribute Concert in 1992.
From 1990 to 1995, she presented on camera and co-produced NBC’s ‘Culture Calendar’, produced ‘Wanted’ for the pan-European TV network SuperChannel, and conducted interviews for the Italian terrestrial music channel VideoMusic. She also appeared on three BBC children’s Saturday morning TV episodes.
For nearly two decades, she was the voice of Cartoon Network (Italy) and for ten years the voice of ESPN Classic Sports (Italy). She has voiced TV promos for the BBC, Discovery, Sky, Bloomberg, National Geographic, CNN, MTV, JimJam, ABC, Hallmark, and Disney Channel. Her narrations feature at the British Museum, the Tate Gallery, the Tate Modern, St Paul’s Cathedral, The Courtauld Gallery, The Louvre, Kensington Palace, Hampton Court, Ellis Island, and The Statue of Liberty NYC, amongst many others.
She is the voice on the Stansted Express and the Gatwick Express trains, at Luton and Gatwick Airports and of numerous airlines inflight passengers announcements.
Currently, she is on long-term commercials campaigns in Italy for Sensodyne – Mentadent, Breville, Hill’s Pet Food and is the voice of Fisher-Price’s Puppy (Cagnolino).
