Description

Anne Hegerty is best known as ‘The Governess’ on ITV’s multi-award-winning game show The Chase and its Australian counterpart on Channel 7. She also hosted Britain’s Brightest Family on ITV. In 2018, Anne captivated audiences as a contestant on the record-breaking series of I’m A Celebrity: Get Me Out of Here! Her television appearances further include Ant and Dec’s Saturday Night Takeaway, Sunday Night at the London Palladium, Loose Women, This Morning, Lorraine, and Celebrity Juice. Notably, she graced the cover of TV Times dressed as Britannia and humorously portrayed Alan Carr’s mother in support of cancer research.
In 2022, Anne embarked on memorable journeys on ITV’s DNA Journey and showcased her culinary skills on Cooking With the Stars.
More recently, in 2024, she took on the role of a nosy neighbour in the short film Exorcizing Barry. Production is already in motion for a longer film in which she will also appear.
With a busy schedule ahead, Anne is especially excited to return to the stage for this year’s pantomime production of Beauty and the Beast, performing in both Scarborough and Warrington for a second year running.
