Martin Delaney is a British actor, best known for his work in Zero Dark Thirty, Judas Ghost and his lead role in British comedy film Amar, Akbar & Tony. Martin was born in Kent and began his career in musical theatre, appearing in Oliver! and Peter Pan ) The British Musical. Following performances in the West End, he swiftly moved into television with the Nickelodeon series The Renford Rejects. Martin was nominated for the British Soap Awards for Best Young Actor (in 2000) and Best Actor (in 2001), both for his role of Paul Webb in Family Affairs. He starred in Beowulf and Grendel alongside Gerard Butler and Stellan Skarsgard and as a US marine in Clint Eastwood’s, Oscar nominated Flags of our Fathers with Ryan Phillippe. Martin also co-wrote additional material for the British Comedy award nominated The Kevin Bishop Show, in 2008. In 2012, he appeared in a role in Kathryn Bigelow’s Oscar winning film about the hunt for Osama Bin Laden, Zero Dark Thirty. In 2014 starred in the fantasy horror Judas Ghost, earning him multiple nominations and one win for best actor. He played Luke in the UK premiere of “Next Fall in September 2014 in the West End. Recent work includes, Josh for BBC, American True Crime series Suspicion, and he can be seen in the Hollywood blockbuster Now You See Me 2, hitting UK screens July 2016.
