Maite Jauregui was born in Los Angeles, California, and moved to Madrid as a child, where she began her acting career at the age of 12 in film (Planta 4a) and TV (Amar en tiempos revueltos, Abuela de Verano, El comisario, 18). She later on moved to the UK to train at RADA and has since continued working in film, TV and stage both in Spain and in the UK.

Her latest work includes the upcoming season two of the Channel 4 series FLOWERS staring Olivia Coleman, and the role of Adela in The House of Bernarda Alba at the Cervantes Theatre. She has also recently premiered an Arts Council England funded one woman show co-created and directed by Pau Aran (member of Tanztheater Wuppertal Pina Bausch).

Besides her acting career, Maite has always been passionate about music. She plays the violin since the age of 3 and sings jazz. She is currently a member of the Camden Voices choir.
