Description

Lara is a British Jordanian actress based in London, she is fluent in both English and Arabic.  Her most recent appeareance was in CASUALTY for the BBC where she played the role of Fida Hamad.  She’s also worked extensively with the BBC radio drama department, the latest radio play being ‘The Bastard of Istanbul’ for BBC Radio 4 playing the role of Asya. 

Her most recent Theatre credits include; WHY ITS KICKING OFF EVERYWHERE at The Young Vic Theatre alongside Paul Mason which was filmed and  aired on BBC2 as part of their theatre live experience.   OIL at The Almeida Theatre, as well as the role of ‘Zarlasht Halaimzai’ in ANOTHER WORLD – LOOSING OUR CHILDREN TO ISLAMIC STATE at The National Theatre.   Her film works includes ‘Hajar’ in THE PROMISE for Reel Issues Films;  ‘Alia’ in 45 MINUTES TO RAMALLAH for Brave New World Productions and  ‘Rosa’ in THE PARROT’ for Monokel Films.
