Description

The reigning champion of Celebrity Masterchef, BBC1, Angellica’s intelligence, wit and warmth shine through every time.

With 17 years of network TV experience under her belt, (many of our young adults grew up watching her starring on CBBC) she has emerged as a significant presenter of adult factual and entertainment programmes. She was recently announced as the new co-presenter of The Martin Lewis Money Show, ITV. In the Spring viewers will see her presenting her second series of Ill Gotten Gains for the BBC. A trusted figure, she has an authority that she mixes with exceptional warmth.

An integral part of BBC1’s flagship show, The One Show, since its inception, she both reports and has regularly stood in as a main presenter – where her upbeat and confident but relaxed character is particularly effective. In October 2017 she filed a special series of hard hitting reports for The One Show from Dominica in the aftermath of the devastating Hurricane Maria. Her connection with both people and place made for compelling viewing.

Angellica is also known for her ability to rise to the most fearsome of challenges, including 71 Degrees North for ITV where she toughed it out in the Arctic for five weeks. For Tour de Celeb, Channel 5, she cycled a stage of the Tour de France despite never having previously ridden a bike.

Angellica’s friendly, engaged style of narration mean that she is much in demand as a voiceover artist. Narration credits include Family Finders, BBC1 and the Bedtime Stories strand for Cbeebies. Her radio work includes Making Tracks, Radio 3 where she brilliantly demystified classical music for young people. This is another passion of Angellica’s, who is working her way through the Associated Board of the Royal Schools of Music cello exams and sings with a local choir. She is also an accomplished writer on family life (she has two small children), food and culture and contributor to Waitrose Weekend Magazine. She is happy to take on relevant writing commissions.
